mixed feelings about this stay

small pool dirty carpets
the location was good near paddington station and my event venue.
the pool was quite small and crowded regulations stated only eleven people could use it at once. this felt insufficient considering the hotel size and number of rooms. additionally the carpets in the room needed serious cleaning they were a disaster.

convenient location friendly staff shallow section limited shower
the location was really good. i walked to paddington station in just five minutes, it made getting around so easy. the staff are friendly and helpful, they answered all my questions.
the pool wasnt great for children. the pool has the same depth throughout, i think a shallower section would improve it. the changing area had just one shower, i had to wait after my swim.

adequate stay with noise issues

noise disturbance unresolved source
i experienced significant noise disturbance . a persistent thumping sound, almost like a ball being hit, vibrated through my room until 1 am. despite reporting this to the staff, the source of the noise remained unresolved, even after their investigation. i found it difficult to rest properly as a result of this situation..

breakfast choices friendly personnel useful kettle
the breakfast offered many choices and fresh options. friendly personnel greeted me at reception. the room included a kettle with tea and coffee, which i found useful. the proximity to the station made travel simple.
this impacted my ability to rest fully, a bit disappointing

musty smell clogged shower drain
The hotel location was convenient to Paddington Station which suited my travel plans.
The room I was given had a musty smell I reported it but nothing changed I found hairs in the bathroom and the shower drain was clogged The minibar was empty and not very cold.

Convenient Stay Near Paddington

spacious room modern area simple travel
The room was spacious. The area felt modern and safe. Paddington Station was only a few minutes walk away. This made traveling around town very simple. I found a grocery store close by. Several coffee places were also nearby. This added convenience to the stay.
I noticed the absence of readily available European plug sockets in the room. I had to purchase an adapter.
